Lion Dance Kids exists to help raise strong young people while keeping Chinese culture alive.

We use Lion Dance, Dragon Dance, Drumming, Kung Fu foundations, stories and cultural traditions as tools for growth — helping children build confidence, discipline, resilience, teamwork and a stronger sense of belonging.

Our approach is rooted in the traditions of Australian Yau Kung Mun, while being designed specifically for children and young people growing up in Australia. We teach culture in a way that is active, accessible and meaningful, so students do not simply learn about tradition — they experience it.

As students grow, so does their responsibility. They learn to perform, support others, lead younger students and eventually help pass the culture forward.

For us, success is not about perfection. It is about helping each child become stronger, kinder, more capable and more confident over time.
